Congratulations to our Blitz 98G Orange team ! 

Our 98 girls played Awesome with the amount of injuries and the shortage of players.  We only lost the eventual winners of the Far West Regionals and the Finalist as well. 

We opened up with Arsenal the Cal South State Champs and lost 2-0 and we missed a few shots and a PK as well and the girls played hard against the Future winners of the Tournament. 

Our 2nd game it did not get any easier as we played Santa Clara Sporting the  Cal North State Champs and it was a hard fought game all the way to the end and we were winning all the way and gave up a goal after regulation period and they scored in injury time.  We ended up with a 1-1 tie. 

Our 3rd game we played Alaska Rush the Alaska State Champs and it was hard game as well but we pulled through and came away with a 8-0 win.  Also Raisa did not play due to her injury during the Santa Clara game. 

We had to go to PK’s to see who will get the 2nd place seed or the wild card seed.  We lost the PK’s and had to play the Real Colorado team that won their pool.  They’re Nationally ranked 8th as well and they made it to the Surf Cup Semi Finals as well.  Another hard fought game for us and we were tied a half time and 0-0.  The 2nd half was a battle with us giving a goal and we ended up pushing another forward and we surrendered another goal and making the final score 2-0 Real Colorado. 

Not bad to make it out of the So Called ” pool of death “  I don’t know when was the last Hawaii team to ever make it out of pool with Cal South and Cal North in the same pool.  It shows alot about our team and the players.  Our girls played with Tremendous heart and passion.   We almost didn’t have enough healthy players to even play in this tournament but our girls with the Championship Leadership and Determination overcame all odds.  I am very proud of the girls and the effort that they put into every game and we came away winners by playing these great teams in the process. 

Our over all record was 1-2-1 and made it to quarterfinals.  We scored 9 goals and give up only 5 goals total to these great teams. 

Our Blitz U11 Boys and Blitz U11 Girls bring home 2 more championship titles.  The won the 2010 Hawaii State Championships Tournament.   Both teams went undefeated and the boys had 21 goals for and only 1 against and our girls went 17 goals for and 0 against !

Our Girls U12 Won the 2010 Hawaii State Cup and now going to Regionals and Surf Cup.  Want guest play with any of our traveling teams ?  Call 808-372-7883
